Chris Tansell
Former CEO

Hi - Chris here.

How fortunate am I that I get to get to work with such wonderful friends and colleagues, doing the right thing, for all the right reasons?

I have always wanted to learn.  I loved school, studied digital electronics in college, and found myself working for a military aerospace contractor.  As it turned out, this wasn't my passion, but it did start my love of aeroplanes...

I have forged a path of success within renowned blue-chip companies such as The Bank of England, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Register of Shipping, and Pfizer's Central Research in the UK, and The Andrew Corporation in the USA. My expertise led me to establish a highly prosperous computer consultancy in London, catering to the diverse needs of technical clients.

In 2002, I embarked on a new adventure by relocating to Western Australia, where I founded a boutique consultancy focused on serving the requirements of general practice.  I left the company in 2012 and successfully sold the company in 2017, moving onwards to pursue new challenges.

Presently, I thrive as a Solutions Engineer for the prestigious Child & Adolescent Health Service, a vital part of WA Health. In this role, I find immense stimulation and empowerment in driving impactful solutions.

Through my remarkable journey and unwavering commitment to transformative innovation, I have become a trailblazer in technology, propelling global advancements and empowering communities worldwide.

Additionally, my passion for transformative healthcare extends beyond borders.

As a co-founder, Solutions Engineer and CEO of "Telehealth Futures," a cutting-edge Telehealth enablement company based in Lusaka, Zambia, I play a pivotal role in spearheading the advancement of telehealth services, envisioning a future where technology breaks barriers and improves lives.

Together, we can.

Sepo Young
Founder & Mental Health Clinical Nurse Consultant

I am Sepo, a highly dedicated and compassionate individual who has made significant contributions in the field of healthcare and social welfare.

My diverse background in nursing, advocacy, and leadership has allowed me to drive positive change and improve the lives of vulnerable populations.

As the Chief Executive of Street Friends WA, I lead a team of passionate volunteers in our mission to combat homelessness and provide support to those in need. Prior to my role as CEO, I played a pivotal role as a member of the steering group for HIV treatment. With my experience as a mental health clinical nurse consultant and personal experience of losing my siblings to HIV, I recognized the urgent need for affordable HIV medication.

I tirelessly advocated for policy changes to make these life-saving treatments more accessible, positively impacting the lives of countless individuals living with HIV. This advocacy work has reduced the financial burden associated with their medication and improved overall treatment outcomes.

In addition to my work in HIV advocacy and homelessness, I am a passionate advocate and dedicated board member of The Voice of Hope, an Aboriginal Cooperation committed to supporting and empowering incarcerated women and those transitioning out of prison. With a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by Aboriginal women in the criminal justice system, I actively work to promote healing, reconciliation, and community reintegration.

Driven by my desire to address mental health concerns in the justice system, I also work part-time in the children's court. In this role, I advocate for the rights and well-being of children and adolescents with mental health issues who become involved in legal proceedings.

Furthermore, I hold a position as a mental health clinical nurse consultant with WACHS Emergency Telehealth. Leveraging advanced telehealth technologies, I provide critical mental health support to underserved populations, particularly in remote and rural areas. My expertise and compassionate approach have made a significant difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues, ensuring they can access quality care regardless of their geographical location.

Throughout my career, I have been an advocate for mental health reforms within the criminal justice system. I actively engage in public speaking engagements, training sessions, and policy discussions to raise awareness and promote evidence-based practices for mental health in prisons, courts, and related institutions.

Driven by my passion for social justice, equity, and community empowerment, I am dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and promoting a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Together, we can.
